RK Uniforms, LLC

Rifle was acquired by the Alperin family in 1993. The company, a long time customer of the Alperins', was a successful supplier of boy's trousers and blazers to department and specialty stores prior to the acquisition. Rifle also had a niche in the school uniform market at the time of the acquisition. In June, 2001, the Alperin family purchased the Kaynee shirt company from Hampton Industries. Kaynee produced and sold boys and girls knit and woven shirts to the school apparel market, which was complimentary with the Rifle product line. In 2011, the company acquired the rights to market product under the trademark, Royal Park, a leader in plaid school uniforms. Steve Royal, a former principal of Royal Park Uniform joined the company at that time and RK continues to serve many of the customers of Royal Park Uniforms.

Proudly, RK has shipped every season for over 125 years! Kaynee has a number of firsts to its credit. For example, in 1910 Kaynee devised and patented the first loop drawstring for boys shirts.
